So I complete the action by adding a password. It seems not possible to proceed without completing this step. A popup appears to save this new DB to On my Phone. So I accept the default name MyPasswords. There is only the 'Open in KeePassium' option which leaves the situation as I initially described it.Īlso I tried 'Create Database' from scratch. I tried to use the Files app on iPhone to move the database On My iPhone / KeePassium. To fix this, you can use the Files app and move the database from On My iPhone to On My iPhone / KeePassium Is there a way of saving the kdbx that KeePassium is using so that I can view in iTunes and transfer it to a PC? In fact, why can't the file be seen by default? If I click on MiniKeePass by contrast I see my kdbx file. When I select KeePassium in the list in iTunes, I get an empty list with no files in it. Usually you'd connect to PC with the cable and open iTunes, go to File Sharing in iTunes then click on the app you want to get a file from. Next I wanted to check if the file that KP is using can be opened using my Windows PCs KeePass app. Proven by opening the file in "Files" - KP launches directly and has identical list of passwords. No change so KP is using a copy of the kdbx file as seen in the "Files" app. To check if the file was being shared between MKP and KP, I made a change to the passwords list in MKP, close the app and opened it in KP.That DB is now visible in the iPhones '"Files" app and it has the KP icon.in KeePassium (KP) I was able to use Add Database to open that database after entering my usual MKP password. In MiniKeePass (MKP) I saved the active kdbx to files "On my Phone".
